CSSA is seeking expressions of interest and submission of qualifications from organizations interested in providing technical assistance to the Material Differentiation (MCD) project. CSSA will use submissions to prepare a roster of potentially qualified companies from which to seek proposals for specific engagements during the course of the project.
Canadian Stewardship Services Alliance (CSSA), on behalf of the Boards of Directors of Recycle BC (formerly MMBC), Multi-Material Stewardship Western (MMSW), Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba (MMSM), and Stewardship Ontario (SO) initiated a MCD project to refresh the methodology used to calculate material specific costs for the purpose of setting steward fees for printed paper and packaging (PPP). ‘Material specific costs’ refer to the cost impacts that specific material characteristics have on recycling system activities.
CSSA’s Request for Expressions of Interest is available here.
Expressions of Interest submissions should be formatted electronically in PDF format and submitted to Kent Hollister at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject ‘Material Cost Differentiation Project – Expression of Interest’.
Alternatively, two (2) paper copies of Expressions of Interest marked ‘Material Cost Differentiation Project – Expression of Interest’ addressed to National Supply Chain, will be received 1 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 700, Toronto, ON M4V 1K6.
All submissions must be received by CSSA by 4 p.m. local time on August 25, 2017.
Questions on clarification of terms and conditions of the proposal process and technical clarification shall also be directed to Kent Hollister at email@example.com.
